When the water temperature drops into the lower 70s you can expect to see Great Hammerhead sharks in Jupiter, Florida! These sharks are mesmerizing to watch. You sit there staring out into the blue, sometimes 20 minutes or more, until you finally see the unmistakable dorsal of a hammerhead approaching. The excitement can be overwhelming but divers need to stay calm and collected or they will quickly scare the hammerhead away. Once the shark gets some fish it will be much more likely to stick around; that is unless the bull sharks come in and run the hammers off.
